Grey’s Anatomy super cute and super gay star T.R. Knight comes out to defend his relationship with Mark Cornelson, who is only 19 years old and that makes him 16 years younger.

“It’s bound to raise some eyebrows but we love each other. (He is) an amazing guy. I love being around him. I love what we have.” Knight admits that although it is too soon to think about a wedding, he definitely thinks his relationship with Cornell will last.

He adds, “We’ve only known each other for six months, so I think it’s a little soon to consider marriage. I don’t think you date anyone that you don’t see a future with.”

Go T.R.!! Age is just a number. When true love knocks at your door, you have to welcome it no matter what form it might take. Besides T.R. and Mark make the cutest gay couple ever!!

T.R. Knight, aka George O’Malley on Grey’s Anatomy, recently spoke with OK! about his boyfriend, Mark Cornelson:

“He’s just an excellent human being…He’s got a great heart. Beyond that I don’t know [what makes our relationship work]. Ask him why he’s with me!”

While Mark “for his part, couldn’t really answer either,” he says he loves his man “to pieces.”

I don’t mean to cast aspersions on their relationship, because I really think they’re awfully cute, and I’m more than happy that T.R. has someone to hang out with other than his fag hag BFF Katherine Heigl - but I can think of a few reasons a 19-year old college student being courted by a rich television star would stick around for awhile!  Yes, folks, T.R. (36 years old) is nearly twice his boyfriend’s age!   Wicked speculation aside, let us hope that T.R. is much luckier in love off-screen than his poor on-screen alter ego.  O’Malley’s relationship drama is getting painful to watch!

It’s official. Lovable George O’Malley will be back at Seattle Grace for another season on Grey’s Anatomy.

According to Entertainment Weekly, T.R. Knight’s contract also ups his salary to around $125,000 per episode, as well as a portion of the profits from the hit TV series.

All I gots to say is I told you so!

T.R. Knight says the prognosis on his survival at Grey’s Anatomy is uncertain.

“I literally don’t know,” he tells Access Hollywood of his future on the show. “It would be nice to know if I’m supposed to report back soon.”

Knight spent much of last season in the middle of a firestorm after costar Isaiah Washington used an anti-gay slur during an on-set argument with Patrck Dempsey. Shortly afterwards, Knight confirmed that he is gay.

ABC has declined to comment.

Now come on.  The folks at ABC are not stupid.  Do you think it is a coincidence that the season finale left things up in the air about the return of Knight and Washington?  They are playing on the publicity they received surrounding the controversy by leaving us all hanging.  And considering the delicate nature of said situation they are not foolish enough to write George off the show.  Can you imagine the backlash?  Seriously.  So simma down now!  I am confident George will be back.

I won’t spoil it for you West Coasters who haven’t yet seen tonight’s episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,” but I will say that it does make you wonder if all the rumors about T.R. Knight leaving the show are true.
