Tracy Morgan’s Homophobic Rant At Nashville Show
At a show in Nashville at The Ryman Auditorium, Tracy Morgan let loose a repulsive anti-gay rant according to at least one show attendee.
In a Facebook post titled “Why I No Longer ‘Like’ Tracy Morgan — A Must Read,” Kevin Rogers wrote that he was fan of the 30 Rock star until he sat through this show from the comedian.
Rogers alleges that Morgan claims being gay is a choice and
“God don’t make no mistakes” and that lesbians are “just pretending.”
According to Rogers, the actor dismissed bullying by saying:
“…the gays needed to quit being p***ies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying.”
Among the disturbing things Morgan is alleged to have said is that he would kill his own son, if he found out he was gay.
“He said if his son that was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N (one word I refuse to use) to death,” Rogers wrote.
The Ryman Auditorium issued a statement apologizing for the offensive Morgan.
“The Ryman Auditorium regrets that people were offended by statements made by Tracy Morgan during his June 3 appearance. The Ryman does not control the content presented by people appearing on its stage, nor does it endorse any of the views of, or statements made by, such persons.”
Morgan has landed in hot water before with his comments, including saying that Sarah Palin is “good masturbation material” on TNT and at a show in New York two years ago, he told the audience being gay was a “choice.”
Morgan’s rep said “There is no comment. Thank you.”
