Vin Diesel is returning to reprise his role as Xander Cage in a new sequel in the xXx franchise. Rob Cohen will direct.
Roth controls the property because the original film was made by his Revolution Studios, which was also behind XXX: State of the Union, a sequel that starred Ice Cube and was directed by Lee Tamahori.
The third incarnation has a title, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, but no script.
The first film wasn’t very impressive, I didn’t see the second. This kind of sequel is just pure desperation for cash.

Vin Diesel was inspired to start a family by his role in The Pacifier, and now he says that being a dad makes him “want to be a better person,” even in the baby care department.
