When I read this story, I assumed it was meant to be a joke, but is it? What do you think? I guess we’ll find out tonight when we watch the Oscars!
It’s being reported that Miley Cyrus has been added to the Academy Awards to present actor Zac Efron with a lifetime achievement Oscar for his body of work. “I am honored that I’ll have the opportunity to help honor such a fine actor,” said Cyrus. “His fans have been pushing for this his entire career which spans four years.” See how that reads just like a joke?

Zac Efron hates kissing girls…on screen, that is! The hearthrob recently told a U.K. magazine that he hates on-screen love scenes because they aren’t “romantic.” He says, “Screen kisses are definitely not as romantic as they look. It looks like a perfect situation but what the audience don’t realize is that just off camera is a bunch of stinky, smelly, crew guys holding up lights and yelling, ‘Action!’”
Zac also tells the magazine, “My first real kiss was when I was in fifth grade and it was in a tree house. It was the first time I was in a romantic situation and there were all these candles lit and everything. I was very young, but I remember having butterflies and everything.”
I think he hates kissing during movies because it feels unnatural to him. And the tree house? Probably one of those “No Girls Allowed” ordeals. You get what I’m sayin’?

I rag on Zac Efron a lot, I know, but he just makes it so easy! Dude wears more makeup in one night than I’ve ever had to put on in my life. From all the beautiful women I’ve seen at the SAG Awards, Zac is definitely the belle of the ball. You look so lovely, and totally straight! Someone PLEASE tell that kid to lay off the pancake!

Disney teen Vanessa Hudgens has reportedly criticized her boyfriend Zac Efron for being a “pretty boy. “Hudgens allegedly complains that he is obsessed with his looks and told Efron to “man up.”
Insiders support Hudgens’ objections when Efron showed up at a wardrobe fitting for his new movie wearing a full face of makeup. The sources say the High School Musical star wore “man cake and guy-liner.” Efron was also wearing black eyeliner, eye shadow, blush, and mascara, shocking the executives.
Just go with it, Zac. Don’t deny your true colors (though, you might want to try earth tones next time)!

Matthew Perry and Zac Efron are slated to play young and old versions of each other in the new movie 17. In another Big-like remake, Perry wakes up one day and suddenly finds himself seventeen and realizes, yes! Chris Hansen can’t bust him now! I’m kidding, but his character decides to enroll in the same school as his children to establish a closer bond with them. Sounds super cheese-ball.
Matthew Perry will play a grown-up version of Zac Efron in “17,” New Line’s teen comedy being directed by Burr Steers. Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot are producing via their Offspring Entertainment banner.
In a scenario that turns the concept of “Big” on its head, the Jason Filardi-penned script follows a middle-age father who wakes up to find he’s 17 again. In order to be close to his children, he enrolls in the same school as them.
Production begins early next month.
Efron was attached to star when the project was set up. Leslie Mann, who plays Perry’s wife, came on board in October.
Perry (NBC’s “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”) recently wrapped “The Laws of Motion,” an indie drama also starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Hilary Swank and Ben Foster.

The Disney-designed, High School Musical twosome, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, were out strolling hand in hand at the Hollywood Palladium for Frederick’s of Hollywood 2008 Fashion Show.
The annual show has many celebrities in attendance to help out the charity Clothes Off Our Backs. A corset designed by Charlize Theron netted $18,000 for actress Jane Kaczmarek’s organization last year.
Jessica Simpson and hair guru pal Ken Paves were also in attendance, along with Jermaine Dupri, Janet Jackson and Ian Ziering.

Nude photos catipulted Vanessa Hudgens of High School Musical to another level of fame and co-star Ashley Tisdale is peeved. Tisdale, 22, is currently touring malls in the US to promote her latest album, while Hudgens has been picked up as Skechers newest celebrity shill.
It’s no coincidence that around the time of the naked photo leak, that internationally known shoe brand Skechers took notice and signed Vanessa, 18, (HSM’s Gabriella Montez) to a one-year deal as their ad pitch woman, a deal reportedly worth around $1 million. Former Skechers ad ladies include, Ashlee Simpson, Carrie Underwood and Britney Spears.
Add to that, Vanessa is dating the hotter than hot Zac Efron, 19, (HSM’s Troy Bolton) which guarantees her exposure in the tabloids and tabloid entertainment shows week after week!
Tisdale is convinced that this was a ploy, the pictures being leaked were not an accident. Duh. Will Tisdale ’accidentally’ star in something? You know, just to up her ‘profile.’

Zac Efron is a really good kisser according to co-star Vanessa Hudgens. She had this to say on a recent TV interview about Efron’s kissing skills.
What she wouldn’t clearly respond to was Banks’s direct question of, “Is Zac Efron a good kisser off-screen?”
Replied Hudgens, “Mmmmmmm” – which prompted Banks to egg her on by saying, “Oh, it’s that good? Mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“As with many epic trilogies, we decided to go in a dark direction for the second installment,” said Disney Channel president Gary Marsh.
What did Efron have to say about it? “I’ll admit that I was shocked when I first read the script,” he said. “But I trust Kenny 100 percent and I’m confident this movie will be just as fun for our viewers as the first one while at the same time making them think about important issues like suicide, drug use, and gay statutory rape.”
