As of Friday April 17th advance tickets for the upcoming summer blockbuster Star Trek went on sale. 

May 7 Tickets Will Be Pre-Sold by AMC Theatres, National Amusements, Pacific/ArcLight, Regal & other theatre circuits

HOLLYWOOD, CA (April 16, 2009) –Starting Friday, April 17, many of the nation’s top theater chains will start offering early show tickets for Bad Robot’s production of J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek,” presented by Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment.  The tickets are for May 7 evening performances of the film, which debuts worldwide on May 8, 2009. Participating chains include AMC Theatres, National Amusements, Pacific/ArcLight and the Regal Entertainment Group, among others.  Additional theatre chains will offer advance tickets in the coming week.

This movie will probably sell out before opening night, so if you want to see it right away you better get your tickets.

Beam me up!  There was a whole galaxy of hotness last week the German premiere of Star Trek.  Let me count the ways:  Karl Urban, John Cho, Zachary Quinto, Eric Bana, and Chris Pine.  We’ll throw Simon Pegg in there for good measure (don’t want to hurt his feelings), but he’s more cute than hunk.

Anyway ladies (and gents who are so inclined) – enjoy the eye candy!

Zachary Quinto is famous for his big bushy eyebrows. And I have to say that he actually can pull it off and look hot with them like that. Zachary admitted that he had to shave those amazing eyebrows for his role as Spock in the new Star Trek movie.

“I had to shave three quarters off each to play Spock. I lost the unibrow in college when I was preparing to go into the acting marketplace. My eyebrows do require some attention… I don’t know if they’re my favourite feature, but they’re certainly my defining characteristic.”

I hope that he doesn’t plan to keep that short forever. For his character in Heroes he seems to use his eyebrows a lot to talk and make his point. If he cut them it just wouldn’t be the same.

Instead of midnight shows for the upcoming mega-hit Star Trek the film will have 7:00 PM shows on May 7th. 

Paramount Pictures is set to release J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” feature film a few hours earlier than originally planned.

The anticipated feature will start at 7pm on Thursday, May 7th says Coming Soon rather than midnight that night as previously reported.

Better buy your tickets early, this one is going to be selling out.

It seems like you always see Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine together doing something anymore. They are busy in Sydney promoting their new movie, Star Trek , which opens world wide on April 7. Why not take a run around while you are there? It looks like they keep in shape with those buff bodies of theirs.

Zachary’s character in Heroes this season is very dark. He is almost my favorite this season (I can’t forget Peter), they have really given him depth now. He has really tapped into who Sylar really is. Tonight the first of the last four episodes of the season is on. It should be interesting to see how it all ends.
