Lady GaGa I mean, Bette Midler was channeling some serious Lady GaGa outside the Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project Benefit Gala ‘Hulaween’ held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City on Friday night (October 30th).
Bette’s costume was for her role as ’The Show Ghoul‘ and she does it so well! I think Lady GaGa would be very proud!

They have been married since 1996 and things are still going strong between Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness. While at a gala that was honoring his lovely wife for her work with orphans, Hugh shared the best parenting advice he had ever been given.
“Make sure you have a date night just the two of you together, without the kids,” Hugh, 41, says during the Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Gala held this week at NYC’s Capitale. “And don’t be afraid to tell your kids that you have no idea what you’re doing either.”
Jackman also shared that the family spends plenty of quality time together. Even when he has to work on Halloween.
“I’m going to be trick-or-treating, but I’ll actually be onstage performing [in A Steady Rain] on Saturday night,” he says. “I’ll help them get dressed. My daughter this morning decided she wanted to be a muffin. I said, ‘what flavor?’ and she said ‘chocolate chip.’”
Hugh and Deborra-Lee have two adopted children, Oscar, 9, and Ava, 4.

Jessica Simpson has had some of the worst luck in love. She has gotten heat for her figure. The critics tore her up for her time on the catwalk. The poor girl even lost her little dog, Daisy to a wild coyote! So, when will this sexy, talented artist catch a break? Well, Jessica knows what kind of man she is looking for and well, her requirements might take a while to meet, but I think she is really starting to get things figured out.
“I definitely love a spiritual man — somebody that is going to always inspire me. I don’t want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men … people that will always keep me intrigued…. And, you know, I love artistic men — somebody that really understands their art.”
I think those are great traits to look for in a guy. I also think that those kind of men are rare, so be patient, Jess! Maybe you will find the man of your dreams while you travel the world for your new show!

Hailey Glassman gave an interview on The Insider, calling out her boyfriend Jon Gosselin for being emotionally abusive. So in true Jon fashion, he hopped on board and is claiming to want to make things right, with everyone.
“I am committed to making things right with Hailey as well as Kate and especially my children. I ask you to please give me the opportunity to prove myself.”
Jon is even acknowledging the price Haliey has paid for him…the whole ‘guilty by association’ thing has hit her hard.
“[She] has paid a significant price to live under such a media microscope. I am grateful for her emotional support and I regret any pain that my actions have caused her as she has selflessly born the pressures I have endured under the media glare.”
I hope that Jon Gosselin is sincere. I hope that he takes action right away in making things right. Jon needs to prove himself to the kids and to Kate. Hailey needs to move on or be patient. She CAN’T be a priority right now. Jon has much bigger messes to clean up first.

Director Ang Lee is adapting the book Life of Pi into a feature length film.
Speaking recently with Digital Spy, Lee mentioned that he’s recently turned in his first draft of the script, and that we can probably expect it in two years. He hasn’t thought about casting as of yet.
The story follows a young Indian boy who ends up stranded on a boat for 227 days with a hyena, zebra, orangutan, and a Bengal tiger. Something tells me they’re going to work extra hard to find the perfect child actor for this role, since he’s going to be the only human for most of its run time. The project has caught the attention of many directors, including M. Night Shyamlan, Alfonso Cuaron, and Jean-Pierre Jeunet since the novel by Yann Martel was released in 2001.
Sounds like a hard book to turn into a movie, but Ang Lee has a great sense of characters on screen. I have a lot of faith in him as a visual storyteller. He really digs into the hearts of the characters. This should be a good one.

Charlize Theron has reportedly been officially cast in the upcoming film sequel Mad Max 4: Fury Road.
Charlize Theron has just signed on to join the cast of Mad Max: Fury Road. The film is the 4th installment in the series and will start shooting in Australia next August.
This is a film franchise that has been dark for over 20 years, so there’s a lot anticipation and excitement to bring it back. As you may recall, the person responsible for making Mad Max popular is Mel Gibson began hiscareer with Mad Max in 1979, shot in Victoria and portraying a broken-down future society.
She’s awesome, I really hope this is true. She brings a lot to any role she plays, hopefully we’ll find out who’s playing the Road Warrior alongside whatever character she’s playing.

Here is the trailer for the upcoming film Invictus from director Clint Eastwood starring Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman.
This movie is probably going to be good and everything, but it just looks boring to me. Hopefully it’s very enthralling, I’ll watch it based on the fact that Eastwood directed it.

Hugh Jackman doesn’t want to host the Oscars again next year.
The thesp, who’s starring on Broadway with Daniel Craig in the drama “A Steady Rain,” quietly turned down the job within the past few weeks, sources said.
Jackman drew praise for his first Oscar hosting gig in February under producer Laurence Mark and exec producer Bill Condon. He may take on hosting duties again in the future, but it’s understood that he didn’t want to do the show two years in a row.
Once his Broadway run ends, Jackman will take time off and prepare for “The Real Steel,” the Shawn Levy-directed DreamWorks drama that will begin production in the spring.
It’s not like he doesn’t have a very full plate in front of him, he’s always keeping busy. But who will host the Oscars this year? Lets the rumors begin! Who would you choose as the host the next Academy Awards?

Reese Witherspoon is set to star in a new film called Rule #1.
Terrel Seltzer has sold her original screenplay “Rule #1″ to Fox Searchlight, with Reese Witherspoon attached to star and produce.
Brad Epstein (”About a Boy”) is producing the project, about a New York woman who befriends a Puerto Rican girl with attention deficit disorder.
Not a lot to be said about the story, but ADD can be funny… ooh cool did you just see that? … wait what were we just talking about?

Men in Black 3 was announced back in April, but now it’s moving forward with Etan Cohen, writer of Tropic Thunder penning the script.
There’s no word yet on Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones’ involvement, but I can’t imagine they would bring the franchise back without featuring them in some capacity.
Tropic Thunder was funny, but Men in Black 2 was so incredibly bad I have a hard time even caring that another one is coming. Perhaps Cohen will put something together that’s fresh, it’s a universe that can easily be tapped for some great stories, it’s just a matter of actually telling one.

The fans demanded it and the studio is delivering, Twilight is coming back to theaters one day before the release of it’s sequel The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Summit Entertainment announced today that they are re-releasing Twilight out in theaters on November 19th, which is the day before New Moon comes out.
They said in a statement, “Despite the first film already being on DVD, fans across the nation have been calling out to see the film once again on the big screen, and the studio is honoring their request.”
I’m actually pretty curious how much the movie will make being back in theaters, this will be a true test of the super-fans. This reminds me of the re-releasing of The Lord of the Rings films in theaters before The Return of the King, but in comparison on a pre-school level.

Playboy model and PeTA poster girl Pamela Anderson sent tongues wagging on Wednesday (October 28) when she stepped out of her London hotel in a clingy dress that displayed a prominent tummy. Could the centerfold be pregnant again?
If you take the word of one of her friends, fashion designer Richie Rich, she is not expecting a bundle of joy any time soon.
“She’s not pregnant, not broke and just happy,”
So, why is Rich speaking out about the rumors and not Pamela?
“She doesn’t have to say anything because they’re not true,” he said. “She actually gets upset because her kids go to school. Of course, she cares. She’s a human being. We’re all human. We just poop glitter that’s the only difference.”
Rich then continued to run off why Pamela is the ideal soccer mom.
“Pam is the real deal,” he told Us. “She’s an icon, and she lives her life, and people can say this or that - most of the time it’s not true. I think Pamela represents a big responsibility in being a cool person. And that’s why I like her. She’s cool, and I’d want her to be my soccer mom!”
Pamela Anderson already has two children with ex-husband Tommy Lee.
